He was standing in heaven
With tears in his eyes
Saying, tell me this isn’t so.
For there was one in heaven

Worthy to open the scroll.

Said, John don’t you cry.

They were casting down crowns
And praising His name
When he cried, who is worthy?

It’s clear we are in last days.
And he said “Behold I come quickly”
So don’t be surprised
When he comes back to take us away.
Those feeble excuses won’t get very far

There at His throne.
